    Kristy and Matt – October 24th, 2009
What can I say about Kristy and Matt.. They came to me from my old partner Linda with Visual Concepts… I happened to meet Kristy by chance at Linda’s studio one afternoon while I stopped by to drop off an album I did for her.  Kristy and I hit it off well at that first meeting and eventually we got together with Matt and I then realized that this was going to be a really fun wedding. We all had hopes of good weather, but for some “crazy” reason it has liked to rain on the Saturdays I have weddings lately and this was no exception… We made the best of it, and got some great shots regardless.  Linda was kind enough to come along for the day and help out, and AJ was there as usual getting some great shots as well.   oh, and the one line that Kristy said to me that sticks out the most in my head is ” Us teaches like to party like rock stars”… yes, yes they do

    Enjoy the photos!

Oh yeah… I forgot to mention that Matt is a HUGE Steelers Fan and just about everyone else in the room is a Ravens fan…  Notice the poor ravens cake getting smashed… and the following shots of the “Terrible Towel Garter”  ceremony… I think at some point the Terrible Towel got swiped and set on fire..LOL  seriously… it did!

  • Little Leigha at the pumpkin patch.

I usually don’t post many personal photos on the blog or FB, but I love these pics to much not to post them. My little girl Leigha is now eight months old, and we took her to papa johns pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago to let her have a good time… I think she had a blast.

    Mary and Andrew – 10-12-09
Mary and Andrew had a very unique wedding a couple of weeks ago.  The ceremony was held at the Christ Church for the Deaf in Baltimore.. Both Mary and Andrew are hearing, but Mary works at the church and is very involved in the deaf community.  The wedding had signers, lots of neat traditions, and the deaf choir was very, very cool to see.  It was a true treat to see how they conveyed songs with such emotion with their signing and dancing.  The reception was held at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore…If you get a chance to go see it, by all means go… The artwork inside and out is simply amazing, and it’s a very cool place to have a reception or party.  The amazing food was catered by Atlantic Caterers.
    Enjoy!

  • Hollow Creek Golf Club – Frederick MD wedding photography

    Lynzi and Dan – October 10th, 2009

Lynzi and Dan had a gorgeous wedding at the Hollow Creek Golf Club near Frederick MD….  It rained in the morning and up to about an hour before the wedding, but the sun broke through and the wedding went off without a hitch.  The course is spectacular, and the wedding yard is a perfect place to hold a ceremony.  The courses beauty combined with a great couple can only lead to great images.  Enjoy!

  • Georgetown and Gaylord National Wedding Photography

    Liz and Evan – 10/3/09

Liz and Evan were married a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Christ Episcopal Church in Georgetown.  The church has a cool little courtyard beside it that is just perfect for taking photos.  Then we headed over to the Gaylord National resort at National Harbor for the reception.. and what a reception it was.  The room was fabulously decorated and all the details were perfect.  These two know how to throw a party!

    Enjoy the photos!

  • Maryland Kids and Family photography

    Sky, Luke and Cyndi…
I got a facebook message earlier this year from Cyndi about doing some family photos for her…. Since I have known Cyndi since we were five years old and went to school together from kindergarten through high school,  how could I say no.  Families are not something I photograph all the time, but I am really enjoying getting my feet wet with it.  So this afternoon we headed on down to Downs Park and did a little session.  Too bad Cyndi’s husband Greg couldn’t make it since he had to work in DC today, but we’ll get him in some photos in another session soon.

    Enjoy the photos!

  • Alison and Ben – 9/26/09

    Alison and Ben – 9/26/09
Alison and Ben had a great wedding at Ft. Myer in Arlington Virginia last weekend… The weather didn’t want to cooperate to much, but we still managed to get some great stuff in the Homer Building in DC, and the Jefferson Memorial.   We are going to be doing a day after session in a week or two so we can get the good weather shots that Alison truly wanted to get.  Stay tuned!
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, but I don’t think these two will need it.

  • Jasmin and John – 9/19/09

    Jasmin and John – 9/19/09
We started out the weekend by heading over to Jasmin and John’s home to photograph Jasmins’ adorable pets. The ferrets Fritz and Boris, and their cat Tiffany then off to the rehearsal for the rest of the evening.  Saturday we started the day at the beautiful Glenview Mansion in Rockville for some getting ready shots and then of to the ceremony at the “Chaple of Our Lady”, on the grounds of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rockville, MD.  The ceremony was very intimate and you could almost feel the emotion between Jasmin and John.  Then we were headed back to the mansion for the photos and the reception.  The delicious food and cake were from Corcoran Caterers and the amazing flowers were all made by John’s mother.  Enjoy the photos!

  • September 11th, 2009 – Tazzie and Andrew

September 11th, 2009 Tazzie and Andrew.

Tazzie and Andrew has a beautiful wedding at the River Farm in Alexandria Virginia.  The weather held out for us and we couldn’t have had a better day to photograph a wedding and it all came together well with the amazing coordination of Alex Mottesheard of Event Bliss, Ltd.  Every little detail was meticulously checked and everything went off without a hitch.  The ceremony was in this little courtyard just after an old brick walkway… Very cool to say the least.   You can easily tell how much in love these two are.
I just wanted to point out some of the amazing vendors from this wedding.  The flowers were done by Wisteria Florals,  the cake was by Holland Hall Pastry shop , the awesome food was provided by R&R Catering, and the awesome guitar music was by Chris Dunn.

    Enjoy the photos!
